PSV coach Fred Rutten has voiced his frustration with the Eindhoven giants’ 1-1 Eredivisie draw away to Heracles on Sunday.
The Philips Stadion outfit created numerous chances to double their lead after Zakaria Labyad’s opener, but failed to add a second, and were eventually made to pay for their profligacy when Everton levelled the scoring.
“It’s really incredible. We had so many chances to score. So naturally I’m not satisfied with the efficiency we showed in front of goal today,” Rutten told the official PSV website.
“We created a host of chances but didn’t convert them into goals.”
“We were the better side for seventy minutes and had many chances to score in Almelo. I can hardly believe what’s happened.”
PSV remain top of the Eredivisie table following last weekend’s results with 42 points from 20 games.
