Defending champions PSV Eindhoven continue to struggle in this year’s Eredivisie. At Heerenveen, two late goals were needed to earn at least one point.

Former PSV player Roy Beerens was influential for the home side with goals in the 16th and 65th minutes.

But Danny Koevermans got one back on 81 minutes and Nijland netted the equaliser five minutes later.

PSV are now sixth in the league, at seven points from leaders AZ Alkmaar. Second-placed NAC Breda travel to Sparta on Sunday and Ajax host FC Utrecht.
