PSV Eindhoven will try and sign Mexican defender Diego Reyes from FC Porto, according to A Bola.
The Eredivisie leaders have seen first team regular Karim Rekik return to Manchester City and they seem to be in the market for a new centre-back.
A Bola has learned that PSV Eindhoven hope to sign Porto’s Diego Reyes on a season-long loan ahead of the Monday’s transfer deadline.
The 21-year-old joined the Dragons from Club America last summer, but has since only made five league appearances for the club.
And with Porto signing Bruno Martins Indi and Ivan Marcano, and Rolando returning to Estadio do Dragao, chances are the Mexican will struggle for playing time in the new season.
With that in mind, a loan move to PSV Eindhoven could prove to be a great option for all the parties concerned.
Diego Reyes was included in Mexico’s World Cup squad and went on to make one substitute appearance at the tournament finals.
