New Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven have rekindled their interest in FC Porto defender Diego Reyes, Voetbal International can reveal.
The Dutch giants aim to reinforce the back line in the summer transfer window as they prepare for Champions League football and the Mexican footballer has become their primary target.
PSV Eindhoven have been unsuccessful in their previous attempts to lure Reyes to Phillips Stadium, but they hope to make things right at the end of the current campaign.
The 22-year-old is desperate to leave Estadio do Dragao in search of first team football having largely struggled for playing time since arriving from Club America.
Having only made a total of seven league appearances in almost two years, it is hardly surprising that the Mexican starlet is considering a summer exit.
Despite the lack of playing time, Reyes made Mexico’s World Cup squad and also started two international friendlies earlier this year.
