PSV Eindhoven have completed the signing of defender Mathias Zanka Jorgenssen from FC Copenhagen.
The Dutch giants staged a press conference to unveil the 21-year-old defender, who will arrive on a free transfer in the summer.
The Danish international has signed a four-year deal with PSV Eindhoven, but he will have to wait until the summer to officially join the Dutch giants.
Jorgensen, who already has five Denmark caps to his name is delighted to be joining such a big club.
“Of course, to be at this stadium with a lot of history, it’s nice to finally know that I am going to be a part of this this summer. I am very happy about that,” Jorgensen told PSV TV.
The towering centre-back started his professional career at FC Copenhagen and quickly became an important part of the biggest club in Denmark.
The 21-year-old opted against extending his contract at Parken and decided to join PSV Eindhoven on a free transfer in the summer.
Jorgensen has been out of action with a knee ligament injury since October and he is not expected to return before June.
