PSV to turn Guardado’s loan deal into permanent move

Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven aim to sign Valencia midfielder Andres Guardado on permanent basis, Superdeporte can reveal.

The 28-year-old was loaned to the Phillips Stadium outfit despite impressing for Mexico at the 2014 World Cup and he has since been producing very good performances in Dutch Eredivisie.

As a result, PSV Eindhoven are eager to purchase his contract from Valencia as early as possible and they plan to offer around €3 million for his services.

With the player no longer in the first team plans at Mestalla, los Che are unlikely to stand in his way, and chances are Guardado will be staying in Eindhoven beyond the current season.

While being used as a left-back at Valencia and during the loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, the experienced footballer has been playing in the centre of the park for Mexico and PSV, and it is believed he prefers operating in the heart of midfield.
