PSV starlet Zakaria Bakkali appears to be moving closer to leaving the club at the end of the current campaign, reports De Telegraaf.
The 18-year-old enjoyed a bright start to his first ever professional season, catching the eye of Europe’s top clubs in the process.
PSV officials in turn attempted to tie the winger down to a new long-term contract, but the player has yet to agree to a contract extension.
Bakkali is reportedly unhappy at being dropped from the starting line-up and he is ready to consider his options at the end of the season.
And with his current deal due to expire in June 2015, PSV will have no choice but to cash in on him if the midfielder refuses to sign a new contract.
According to De Telegraaf, Liverpool and Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on the player who has scored 3 goals in 15 Eredivisie appearances for the club.
