West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis believes that the transfer speculation surrounding Jonny Evans in the summer has unsettled the defender, according to the Mirror.
Premier League leaders Manchester City were strongly linked with a move for the Northern Ireland international in the summer, while Arsenal and Leicester City were also in the running with the latter failing with a £25m bid.
The Baggies’ captain missed the beginning of the campaign with a hamstring and is yet to play in a winning side this season with his side recording two draws and two defeats from his four league appearances so far.
He also played as Northern Ireland lost their final two World Cup qualifiers though they still secured a play-off place after finishing second in their group, behind world champions Germany.
West Brom travel to Leicester City on Monday evening and can be backed at 7/2 to win the game.
