Christian Pulisic is ready and willing to consider asking his club to let him go on loan in the January transfer window, reports AS.
Following a very expensive move of the U.S. international which took place this past summer, the former Borussia Dortmund winger is growing restless about not being given enough time on the pitch. It cost Chelsea £64 million pounds to bring the 21-year-old to the club and some are saying that the youngster simply isn’t the right fit for the team.
Both club boss Frank Lampard and club captain Cesar Azpilicueta have emphasized the need for patience both from the fans – who want to see immediate results of such a huge investment – and from Pulisic himself, who needs time to adapt to a new country and a new team. Pulisic is working hard in training and Azpilicueta says that he is sure Pulisic will become an important part of the team this season.
Pulisic has only played three Premier League matches this season, all three in August. In the last three matches he has been mostly an unused substitute, although he did make a 10-minute cameo in the match against Southampton on Sunday.
