Milan close in on Pulisic agreement
AC Milan are reportedly working hard to sign Christian Pulisic from Chelsea. The final conversation between the two clubs are expected to take place today, and the Rossoneri believe an agreement will be found.
Pulisic has told Chelsea that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge in search of a new club, having failed to impose himself on the plans of any of the coaches he’s worked with there. The 24-year-old USA international appears keen on trying himself against the challenges of the Serie A, and Milan could thus find good balance in attack, with him and Rafael Leao attacking from the flanks.
UPDATE: According to multiple sources, Milan have now reached an agreement with Chelsea and Pulisic’s transfer to San Siro is imminent. The fee the Rossoneri are set to receive will amount to more than €20 million, add-ons included.
Koch starts expected Leeds exodus with Frankfurt loan
Robin Koch has left Leeds United to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, for what will be the final season of his contract at Elland Road. Unless Leeds succeed in their fight to return to the Premier League, it’s hard to see him ever going back.
The 26-year-old defender, who thus started what is expected to be a rush to leave Leeds after their relegation from the English top flight, took to Instagram to address the fans of the club and reflect on the three seasons spent there.
Real to test PSG resolve on free Mbappe transfer
Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to show patience in their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe, being intent to do just what Paris Saint-Germain are adamantly ruling out: sign the France captain on a free transfer next summer.
The 24-year-old forward will probably join Real Madrid sooner or later, but it will certainly be interesting to see how this story pans out in the end. At PSG they apparently believe he’s already agreed to join the 14-time European champions as a free agent next summer, and they are believed to be looking for €150 million to let him leave now.
It remains to be seen if there are any takers for that amount for a player in the last year of contract.
Atletico interested in Hojbjerg
Atletico Madrid are reportedly holding a genuine interest in the services of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The 27-year-old midfield powerhouse would likely fit in very well with the tactical style of Diego Simeone.
With a desire to play in the Champions League strong on his mind, Hojbjerg is apparently keen to leave North London for Madrid, and for their part, Spurs are believed to be open to allowing the Denmark international to make the move, providing their valuation of the player is met.
Atletico Madrid’s interest in Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is strong and Spurs will accept a suitable offer.
