Competition: Premier League
Market: QPR to stay up
Odds: 2/5 @ Bet 365
Queens Park Rangers have been aiming big in the summer transfer market with the signing of former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, while also having agreed a fee with Cardiff City for their centre-back Steven Caulker.
Manager Harry Redknapp is one of the most experienced managers in the Premier League and knows the key to survival is building a side that can defend a lead, or keep the opposition out when the game is tied.
As a result, Bet 365 are backing the London outfit with odds of 2/5 to stay up in the division this season, but they’ll have memories of their relegation two campaigns ago.
Redknapp, who took over from former manager Mark Hughes during the 2012/13 season, failed to keep the side up , but now he’s built a more UK-based side who have all played a lot of game in the English first and second tier that should serve them well in the coming months.
