The London Evening Standard is reporting that Queens Park Rangers are keen on signing Tottenham Hotspur defender, William Gallas, in this transfer window.
Harry Redknapp of course worked with the Frenchman during this time at Spurs and could now look to work with him again at Loftus Road.
QPR have leaked goals at the back in the English Premier League this campaign and recently lost experienced centre-back Ryan Nelson to the MLS, so need a wise head at the back.
However, Tottenham might be reluctant to let the 35-year-old leave as he has played a big part in their season so far, starting the majority of matches before picking up an injury just before the Christmas period.
Unless Spurs bring in a new centre-back, Rangers might to well to secure to services of Gallas as he is still a top quality player that has plenty to offer the North Londoners.
Redknapp could be the deciding factor in whether a deal can be done as the two did work well together when both were at Tottenham.
He might not come cheaply, but could prove to be just the kind of player that QPR need to survive in the Premier League this season.
