Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano could be joining QPR in the coming days, reports L’Equipe.
The Rangers have emerged as favourites for the player’s signature having recently stepped up their interest and they are currently trying to lower the asking price and complete the transfer.
Amalfitano has returned to Stade Velodrome after impressing while on loan at West Bromwich, but a return to English Premier League appears on the cards.
Considering that the 29-year-old has got just a year left on his deal with OM and is not interested in extending his contract, chances are he will be sold this summer.
Morgan Amalfitano hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth at Stade Velodrome, despite making a total of 58 league appearances and scoring 2 goals since arriving from Lorient three years ago.
He was, however, in fine form for West Brom last term, notching four goals and several assists in 28 Premier League outings.
