QPR have made a complaint to the Football Association over an alleged racist incident involving Anton Ferdinand and John Terry.
Chelsea and England captain Terry is alleged to have made a racist slur against defender Ferdinand during his side’s 1-0 defeat at Loftus Road on Sunday.
Terry has denied the allegations, and has received the full backing of his club.
But QPR have revealed that the FA are set to investigate the incident further.
A statement on QPR’s official website read: “The club is aware of an alleged racist incident in Sunday’s Barclays Premier League fixture between QPR and Chelsea at Loftus Road.”
“The Football Association are now expected to conduct enquiries into the alleged incident.”
QPR’s chairman Tony Fernandes also stated that the club are committed to supporting Ferdinand, and are fully behind the current campaign to kick racism out of football.
“Queens Park Rangers Football Club does not condone racism in any way, shape or form,” Fernandes told the club’s website.
“As a club, we will provide our players with our unequivocal support when alleged incidents like this occur.”
The FA have confirmed an investigation is under way.
“The FA will now begin to make enquiries into this matter,” an FA statement read.
“The FA takes seriously any allegations of discrimination and abuse of this type.”
“No further comment will be issued at this time.”
