Queens Park Rangers, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday are interested in signing Wato Kuate, according to TEAMtalk. The defensive midfielder is a free agent at the moment following his departure from Rovaniemen Palloseura.
It has been reported that Kuate is looking to return to the UK and will not need a work permit as he holds Portuguese citizenship. The former Manchester City prospect is in talks with QPR, but Championship rivals Wednesday, Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest also keen on securing the services of the 25-year-old.
Forest are third from bottom in the Championship table at the moment with no point from four matches and have recently appointed Chris Hughton as their new manager. Wednesday are currently at the foot of the standings with -7 points, while QPR find themselves ninth in the standings with five points.
