Premier League strugglers Queens Park Rangers are exploring the possibility of signing Norwegian forward Joshua King from Blackburn, Sky Sports has suggested.
The Rs are a bit short of options in the final third, although many will be surprised with a move for the player who has struggled for playing time at Ewood Park.
Joshua King came through the youth ranks at Manchester United, but left the club for Blackburn without making a single Premiership appearance.
Having shown some potential on loan spells with Preston, Borussia M’gladbach and Hull, the 23-year-old had a bright start to his stint with Rovers, but he has been utterly disappointing this season, starting mere 4 Championship games.
King’s versatility may be one of the reasons why QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants him at Loftus Road, with the Old Trafford graduate capable of covering a number of positions in the final third.
Rangers currently sit one point adrift of safety and can be backed at 5/4 to avoid the drop.
