Queens Park Rangers are lining up a £5million bid for Celtic striker Gary Hooper, according to the Mail Online.
Manager Harry Redknapp is keen to bolster his attacking options as he looks to secure an immediate return to the Premier League following their disastrous campaign last time around.
The former Scunthorpe United striker had also been linked with a move to Hull City, though Steve Bruce has said that they will not return with a fresh bid after their previous offer of £4.5million was turned down.
Norwich City are also interested in the 25 year old though, along with QPR, saw a bid rejected earlier this week.
The Scottish Premier League champions have already lost Kenyan international Victor Wanyama, who has secured a £12million move to Southampton, and Neil Lennon is keen to keep old of his star striker, who has scored eighty-goals since moving north of the border three years ago.
