QPR to reignite Lennon interest

Queens Park Rangers will make a January move to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s winger Aaron Lennon, according to the Telegraph.

With Nacer Chadli and Andros Townsend ahead of him in the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino, the England international has made just three starts in the league so far this season.

The 27 year old’s former manager Harry Redknapp attempted to sign the winger in the summer, but the player pulled out of a loan deal at the eleventh hour.

Pochettino is keen to trim his squad next month as he looks to freshen things at White Hart Lane, and Lennon is one of a number of players who could make way, though a loan deal seems most likely.

Lennon moved to Spurs from Leeds United in the summer of 2005, and has since racked up over three hundred and fifty appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty goals, and he was part of the squad that won the League Cup in 2008.
