Competition: Premier League
Market: Redknapp the next to exit his post
Odds: 11/5 @ Betfair
After being knocked out of the Capital One Cup last night, the pressure is on Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp. The Hoops have started their Premier League campaign poorly too, with no points on the board after their first two games.
Rangers lost their opening game 1-0 to Hull City, and were hit for four away to Tottenham Hotspur just over a week later. With QPR yet to score, pressure will begin to mount of Redknapp’s shoulders if he can’t turn the side’s fortunes around soon.
While club owner Tony Fernandes is grateful for the work the Rangers manager has done in getting the London club back into the Premier League at the first time of asking, he won’t hesitate to make a change in the coaching ranks if he’s not convinced Redknapp has what it takes to keep the club in the division.
Betfair are giving 11/5 for Harry Redknapp to be the next manager to exit his post, but the likes of West Ham manager Sam Allardyce and Newcastle’s Alan Pardew are never deemed safe in their jobs, with a run of poor results likely to spell the end of their association.
