Competition: Premier League
Market: Harry Redknapp next manager to leave his post
Odds: 8/13 @ Coral
Following Queens Park Rangers’ 3-2 defeat against Liverpool, the Hoops’ manager Harry Redknapp was visibly frustrated after conceding two goals in the dying minutes to throw away what would have been a well-earned point.
Redknapp was critical of his team’s shape in the build-up to Liverpool’s winning goal, while launching a scathing attacking on one of his own players who didn’t feature. Ahead of the game, the 67-year-old was adamant that he wasn’t under pressure of the sack in his job, despite Rangers’ woeful start back in the Premier League, but many believe otherwise.
QPR are rock bottom of the Premier League table, with four points from their first eight games. They have the worst defence in the division (18), while having the third worst goalscoring tally (6) too. Redknapp knows he will be out of a job if he can’t pick up results, and Coral are giving odds of 8/13 for the Rangers manager to be the next to leave in the Premier League as a result.
The Londoners have Aston Villa next, and if they drop points against the Midlands outfit, Chelsea and Manchester City will prove even harder games after, which could see Redknapp under real pressure.
Bet: QPR’s Harry Redknapp to be next manager to leave his post @ 8/13 with Coral >>
