With Arsenal having pulled out of the race to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, and Liverpool reportedly in the market for Swansea’s Wilfried Bony, Tottenham appear to be the most likely to sign French international Loic Remy.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a good season on loan with Newcastle, scoring 14 Premier League goals. But this summer he revealed he wanted to join a Champions League side for 2014/15, which put the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool on red alert.

However, delays in the deal saw Arsenal instead put their focus into getting Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez, and now QPR appear keen to convince him to stay, with the club making big-name signings such as Rio Ferdinand this summer.

Tottenham have the likes of fellow French players Younes Kaboul, Etienne Capoue and Hugo Lloris who could make Remy feel at home if he did sign for them this summer, and Ladbrokes are backing the Londoners with odds of 2/1 to win the race for his signature.
