Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder may not feature in the upcoming Derby d’Italia against Juventus, according to a report.
The Netherlands international sat out Sunday’s goalless draw against Atalanta as a result of a groin injury sustained in midweek during the Champions League match against Marseille.
He trained individually in Wednesday’s practice session and it is believed that Inter will not rush him back into action in order to prevent a recurrence of the problem, according to Sportmediaset.
Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu and Fredy Guarin trained with the rest of the team, while Ricardo Alvarez continued his recovery programme.
Inter are seventh in the Serie A table, while Juventus are second, four points behind leaders Milan.
