Croatia started their World Cup Qualifying campaign on a positive note with a 3-0 win over Zagreb.

Croatia, who meet again with England in this qualification group, showed to be in decent shape with a professional win over their guests on Saturday.

Niko Kovac put his side in the lead after 13 minutes and Luca Modric made it 2-0 in the 36th minute.

The third and final goal came from Petric with eleven minutes to go.

Croatia take the lead in Group 6, with England following in second place.
