Croatia did what was expected from them and beat Group 6 minnows Andorra 4-0 at Zagreb’s Maksimir stadium.

Ivan Rakitic needed just sixteen minutes to open the score against Andorra, and Ivica Olic doubled the lead shortly after the half hour mark.

Croatia star Luka Modric netted the home side’s third in the 75th minute and Rakitic added a second to his personal account from the penalty spot with three minutes to go.

As a result of tonight’s win, Croatia temporarily move into second place. Ukraine are in third position with the same amount of points and a game in hand.
