A 2-1 victory over the Czech Republic earned Poland the lead in Group 3 of the European World Cup qualifiers, while the Czechs are stuck in fourth place.
Pawel Brozek opened the score in Polish favor after 28 minutes and Kuba doubled the lead eight minutes into the second half.
Fenin got one back for the Czechs with three minutes to go, but it was too little, too late.
As a result, Poland are first in this group with seven points from three games. Slovenia have the same amount of points, but scored one less goal.
Having earned just one point from their first two matches, the Czechs are now in fourth place and the World Cup currently seems very far away.
