Everton FC secured a spot in next season’s UEFA Cup tournament with a 3-1 win over Newcastle United.
The Liverpool-based side scored through Yakubu, Lescott and again Yakubu, while the Magpies only hit the net once through Michael Owen.
Thanks to the win, Everton qualify for next season’s UEFA Cup at the expense of Aston Villa.
