(GSM) – Fulham took the slight edge in their Europa League quarter-final with Wolfsburg on Thursday, as they beat Wolfsburg 2-1 in London.

Fulham looked the better of the two sides in the first half, but the Cottagers could not find a way into the net.

Then, they went in front in the 59th minute when Bobby Zamora hit a sublime shot past Diego Benaglio to make it 1-0.

Four minutes later, Damien Duff doubled the advantage for Fulham when he took a pass from Zamora before slotting home at the edge of the area.

Fulham’s advantage, however, was trimmed significantly with a minute to play as Wolfsburg defender Alexander Madlung nodded home from close range for a crucial away goal.
