(GSM) – It will be all to play for in London next week as Hamburg and Fulham drew 0-0 in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final in Germany on Thursday.
Zoltan Gera had a shot go wide inside 15 minutes for Fulham, but it was Hamburg that always had the upper hand in the first half.
But the Fulham defenders did well to keep Hamburg from creating many clear chances in the opening 45 minutes.
Midway through the second half, Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer did well to tip a shot from Jonathan Pitroipa over, and Schwarzer later stopped a good effort from Mladen Petric.
A late booking to Hamburg’s Piotr Trochowski ruled him out of the second leg, and Fulham and Hamburg are all square heading back to England.
