After beating Romania in their opening match, Lithuania impressed again with a 2-0 victory over Austria on Wednesday.

The Austrians had beaten France in their first match, but failed to keep that confidence for their second game in this campaign.

Tomas Danilevicius, who played for Italian side Livorno, scored the opening goal in the 52nd minute and added a second six minutes later.

With six points from two games, and a 5-0 goal record, Lithuania currently occupy the top spot in a group with Serbia, Romania and France as main competitors.
