(GSM) – Hamburger SV have secured a spot in the semi finals of the Europa League, beating Belgian side Standard Liege 5-2 on aggregate.
After winning their home match 2-1, Hamburg were again the dominant side in the second leg and needed 20 minutes for Mladen Petric to score the opening goal.
Igor de Camargo levelled in the 33rd minute but Petric insisted on keeping his team ahead and restored the advantage two minutes later.
In the 90th minute, Paolo Guerrero added a third for a 1-3 win in the second leg and a 2-5 aggregate victory.
