(GSM) – Fulham successfully defended their lead in the Europa League quarter final tie with Wolfsburg, beating the Germans 3-1 on aggregate.
At Craven Cottage, Fulham had already beaten the Germans 2-1 and all pressure was on Wolfsburg to do well in their home game.
But the hosts were never given a chance to properly get into this match as Fulham scored the opener after no more than 20 seconds as Bobby Zamora converted a pass from Zoltan Gera.
Wolfsburg now needed two goals just to force extra time, a task too difficult to achieve.
Fulham are one of two English teams in the semi final, as Liverpool qualified as well.
