According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Adrien Rabiot’s representatives are now no longer in contact with Spanish giants Barcelona regarding a potential move to the Nou Camp. The 23 year old’s midfielder is set to expire at the end of the season, with Barca being the primary destination that people were expecting him to end up at. Alas, the signing of Frenkie de Jong could well be the catalyst behind this deal now falling apart.
It’s no secret that Rabiot has wanted to leave PSG for quite some time now, with the club not being happy about the way he has approached the whole process.
The French international is still considered to be a hot commodity and one of the most intriguing young midfielders in European football, but you have to question which other major club is going to be interested in taking him off of Paris Saint-Germain’s hands in the summer.
