Rabiot to stay at PSG after all?

Despite everything that has been going on regarding his future during the 2018/19 season, Adrien Rabiot might actually end up staying at Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Le10Sport claim that the imminent appointment of Leonardo as one of the club directors would be behind such a strange twist in the story.

The French international, whose contract expires at the end of this month, rejected three offers of a new deal during the season. Reports of a huge strife between player and club were emerging left, right and centre, and he looked set to leave the Parc Des Princes this summer as a free agent with a number of top clubs hot on his heels.

However, it is likely that the arrival of Leonardo to the directors’ board would spell the end of Antero Henrique’s employment with the club. Henrique was apparently the man Rabiot had most problems with.

Leonardo is said to have already spoken to the 24-year-old about staying in Paris, as well as his mother who is also his agent.
