Paris Saint-Germain starlet Adrien Rabiot is reportedly keen on a January move to AS Roma, L’Equipe has learned.
The talented midfielder was looking to quit Parc des Princes this summer, with Arsenal and the Giallorossi attempting to recruit him in the final days of the transfer window.
The two clubs ultimately failed to reach an agreement with the Saints, but Rabiot is almost certain to leave in the January window.
According to L’Equipe, the 19-year-old is not interested in a switch to the Emirates, but he rather wants to join AS Roma and work with French coach Rudi Garcia.
And with competition for places in midfield not that fierce at Stadio Olimpico, it is hardly surprising that Rabiot prefers the Giallorossi to Arsenal.
AS Roma started the new campaign with a comfortable triumph over Fiorentina, and they are now 4/7 to defeat Empoli as well and remain close to the top of the standings.
