According to The Athletic, Valencia are looking at possibilities of cashing in on Ferran Torres before his contract enters its final 12 months this summer.
The 20-year-old has so far managed to score six and assist in further seven goals in 35 appearances in all competitions this season. Those numbers may not be very impressive for a winger at first glance, but his age and obviously high potential have managed to attract a number of top clubs across Europe. Real Madrid and Barcelona are both hoping to keep him in Spain, but they face serious competition from England and Italy with the two Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Juventus all interested as well. Borussia Dortmund have reportedly already tried to agree a deal to take him to Germany, but their offer was rejected.
Torres prefers to play on the right attacking flank, but he’s fully capable of performing well on the other side as well.
