Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that a number of Europe’s top sides are keen on Olympiakos defender Kostas Manolas.
Following some strong performances for the Greek giants, the 23-year-old went on to impress at the 2014 World Cup, and has in turn become one of the hottest commodities in the summer transfer window.
Juventus and Roma had earlier showed interest in his services, but the latest reports suggest that Manchester United are in the mix as well.
It is no secret the Red Devils are desperate to sign at least one centre-back by the time the summer transfer window closes and they have turned their attention to Manolas after missing out on Thomas Vermaelen.
The Red Devils are widely expected to make few more high-profile signing having recruited Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw, and they are currently available at 4/9 to achieve a top 4 finish in the Premier League.
