Fulham striker Aleksand Mitrovic has hit the rich vein of form ever since he left Newcastle last year.
The Serbia international carried the Cottagers back to the Premier League with 12 goals in 20 Championship appearances last season and went on to extend his formidable goalscoring record with four goals in five top-tier games thus far.
Mitrovic also added a brace for Serbia during the international break against Romania and his formidable form is said to have alarmed Premier League giants Chelsea.
The Blues are believed to be on the lookout for Alvaro Morata upgrade and have identified Aleksandar Mitrovic as the ideal solution. Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be monitoring the physical forward personally at the moment.
Additionally, Italian reports have it that a string of Serie A sides are also keeping close tabs on the Serbian international.
Mitrovic moved to Fulham permanently during the summer in a £22 million deal.
