Race hots up for Alexander Isak

Swedish daily newspaper Expressen claims that a plethora of top European clubs are lining up for AIK Solna wonderkid Alexander Isak.

The 17-year-old has enjoyed an incredible debut season in Sweden’s top flight, bagging 9 goals in 21 league outings, quickly becoming one of Europe’s most sought-after footballers under the age of 18.

It was Real Madrid that first expressed their interest in the talented forward and now Manchester United scouts made a check on Isak in Monday’s clash against IFK Goteborg.

Representatives of Liverpool, PSG, Leicester, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and many other top sides were also in the stands, which is enough to suggest we could see a real bidding war for the youngster at the end of the season.

Considering that his current contract is due to expire in June 2018, AIK are well aware they will not be able to keep hold of their prized asset and are ready to consider offers in the region of €8 million.
