A host of Europe’s biggest clubs are believed to be vying for the signature of FC Porto’s highly-rated youngster Andre Silva, who was quick to emerge as one of the most exciting talents on the continent.
The 21-year-old Portuguese has managed 20 goals in 38 appearances for his club across all competitions this season. Silva also netted 5 times for Portugal in his country’s World Cup qualifying, thus only confirming the huge potential and quality.
The likes of Manchester United, City, Marseille and Real Madrid have already been linked with Andre Silva, but according to reports from the Portuguese news outlet Abola, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are believed to have joined the race.
Premier League title chasers and French champions will have no problem investing £51 million to activate Andre Silva’s release clause and the summer ahead of us promises to be extremely eventful when it comes to FC Porto’s youth product.
Andre Silva is contracted with Porto until 2021.
