Premier League powerhouse Chelsea have been linked with a summer move for AS Roma centre-back Antonio Rudiger, according to reports from French outlet Le 10 Sport.
The 23-year-old Germany international currently playing with Giallorossi on loan from Sevilla is expected to make a definite choice regarding his future this summer and plenty of clubs have already interest to sign him.
Borussia Dortmund are among the clubs who are closely following the German defender, while Paris Saint-Germain are believed to have also stepped up their interest to sing AS Roma centre-back.
French champions are exploring options for bolstering the back line and with the possible departure of Marquinhos to Barcelona the Saints will be quick to find a proper replacement during the summer transfer window.
However, as the French publication suggests, Chelsea have been monitoring the 23-year-old for years now and are now also ready to step up their interest with the imminent arrival of Antonio Conte.
Rudiger has had a successful season with AS Roma during which he made 30 Serie A appearances and established himself as a reliable first-team member for Luciano Spalletti’s team.
