Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristante is one of the most sought-after players in Serie A.
The 22-year-old has thus far made 22 league appearances for the Orobici this season. The Italian side have been impressed with his exploits and are widely expected to activate the buyout clause in their loan agreement with Benfica.
Originally a player of the Portuguese champions, Cristante is on a €4 million clause and will become a permanent Atalanta player if the Italian side fork out the aforementioned amount.
The expected permanent move to Bergamo is sure to be short-lived, however, knowing that Italy’s finest Juventus, Inter Milan and now AS Roma have all been alerted by Cristante’s emerging talents.
Giallorossi are said to have already approached Atalanta about the availability of the player. AS Roma head coach Eusebio Di Francesco and sporting director Monchi are said to be huge admirers of the 22-year-old’s talents and will try to land him once the season ends.
Atalanta would be looking to make a significant player and are unlikely to let Cristante leave for anything less than €20 million.
