Mainz midfielder Johannes Geis is slowly becoming one of Bundesliga’s most sought-after footballers, according to Bild.
The 21-year-old has shown a great deal of potential this season and he is almost certain to leave Mainz for a bigger club at the end of the season.
The latest reports suggest that new Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel plans to take €12 million rated Geis with him to Signal-Iduna Park.
However, that will be no easy task given that Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia M’gladbach, Wolfsburg, Schalke, AC Milan and Fiorentina are also keen.
Johannes Geis has another two years left on his deal with Mainz, which should allow the Bundesliga strugglers to earn a nice profit on the talented footballer.
The highly rated midfielder arrived at the club from Greuther Furth two years back and has since scored 5 goals in 62 Bundesliga outings, while proving to be a genuine free kick specialist.
