Sky Sport Italia is reporting that a number of top clubs are weighing up late moves for Juventus full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner.
Despite playing a key role in helping the Bianconeri win five straight Serie A trophies, the Swiss defender could be leaving the club on transfer deadline day.
Namely, with summer recruit Dani Alves in front of him in the pecking order, Lichtsteiner has informed the club officials that he wants out.
Inter Milan have since emerged as the favourites for his signature, but the problem is that Juventus do not want to sell their prized asset to a Serie A rival.
They would prefer the 32-year-old to move abroad, with Borussia Dortmund and Monaco also showing interest at the moment.
Stephan Lichtsteiner has spent last five years in Turin, and he has managed 14 goals and 23 assists in 198 competitive appearances for the Italian giants.
