La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Juventus and Atletico Madrid are locked in the battle for Udinese forward Luis Muriel.
The Colombian has largely impressed since returning to Udinese from a loan spell at Lecce, and has been heavily linked with a summer exit.
According to La Gazzeta dello Sport, both Juventus and Atletico Madrid are considering summer bids for the highly rated attacker.
The problem is Udinese chiefs would prefer to keep hold of him for another season, but an offer in the region of €20 million would certainly change their opinion.
Luis Muriel has revelled in a role behind lone striker Antonio Di Natale this season, scoring 10 goals in just 20 Serie A matches.
The 22-year-old is predicted a bright future in the game and it is hardly surprising top European clubs are casting admiring glances his way.
Due to the fierce competition for places in the national team, Muriel has earned just 2 Colombia caps so far.
