Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo claims that a host of top European clubs are showing interest in Benfica full-back Nelson Semedo.
The 23-year-old is yet another impressive product of club’s youth academy and it is now clear he will soon be leaving Estadio da Luz for greener pastures.
O Jogo claims that AC Milan are the latest top side to have joined the chase for his signature, with Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco and Juventus also keen.
It is clear that Semedo will not be available on the cheap considering that he has a deal until June 2021 at Estadio da Luz that contains a €60 million release clause.
The talented full-back this season made 24 league appearances for Benfica, who sit one point clear of arch rivals FC Porto in the Primeira Liga standings, with the title chase again set to go to the wire.
