The highly talented Santos starlet Rodrygo Goes is attracting plenty of interest from several Europe’s top sides, according to reports found in Mundo Deportivo.
The 17-year-old forward dubbed the new Neymar has already turned the heads of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Barcelona who are keeping a close tab on the youngster.
The La Liga champions Barcelona were believed to be leading the chase for Rodrygo who is under a €50 million release clause in his contract with Santos.
Blaugrana are actively working on a possible summer deal for the Brazilian hotshot and are currently attempting to lower the asking price. The Catalans are hoping their established business relationship with Santos will help them beat competition to the signature of a player tipped to make a big name for himself in Europe.
Barcelona chief executive Oscar Grau has already flown to Brazil where he is expected to open direct talks with Santos in order to check the situation around Rodrygo and lay pissible foundations for a summer move to Camp Nou.
