(GSM) – Uruguayan side Racing Club are a big step closer to the next round in the Copa Libertadores following a 1-0 win over Independiente Medellin of Colombia.

After a goalless draw between these two sides last week, Racing collected the points as the teams met again in Uruguay on Thursday.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 75th minute and came from Santiago Ostolaza.

As such, Racing Club further secure their second position in Group 1 as the gap with Medellin grows to four points with just two games to go. Brazilian side Corinthians lead this group with seven points and a game in hand, Cerro Porteño remain at the bottom with just one point.
