(GSM) – Group 1 of the Copa Libertadores remains undecided as Racing Club lost their home match against Corinthians, 0-2.

A win would have taken the Uruguayans to the next round but their Brazilian opponents were simply too strong and opened the scoring through Dentinho in the 18th minute.

Racing’s remaining hope was crushed late in the second half, as Elias doubled Corinthians’ advantage in the 87th minute.

The Uruguayans remain in second place in this group but are only one point ahead of Colombian outfit Independiente Medellin.

In the final round of games, to be played on April 22, Racing travel to visit Paraguayan side Cerro Porteño while Medellin play an away match to already qualified Corinthians.
