Racing reveal Zuculini set to join Man City

Argentine side Racing Club have revealed that Manchester City have an agreement in place to sign midfielder Bruno Zuculini in the summer.

The 20-year-old has developed into a key player for Argentine giants, catching the eye of top European clubs in the process.

And it appears Manchester City were the quickest to react, with Racing claiming a deal has already been agreed for Zucilini to join the Etihad outfit at the end of the current campaign.

“Every season Racing puts together a side to battle for the title, and then nothing happens,” Racing Club president Victor Blanco confessed to Argentine newspaper El Dia.

“So we wanted to keep the side and reinforce it, but we have several highly coveted gems from the outside, such as Luciano Vietto, Rodrigo De Paul and Bruno Zuculini – who has already signed an agreement to leave in June to join Manchester City.”

Despite his fragile age, the Argentine is already regarded one of the league’s best midfielders and he has been in excellent form this season.

The talented footballer bagged 4 goals in 14 league outings this term, taking his total goal tally to 10 goals in 80 league matches.

Meanwhile, Manchester City play host to Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round, with home win paying 6/5.
