Esteban Cambiasso scored a rare Champions League goal to hand Inter the first victory after five games, as the Neroazzurri beat Twente to qualify for the knockout stages.
The victory meant much more than just qualification for the next round as it had been reported that Rafa Benitez could lose his job should Inter fail to beat Twente.
Esteban Cambiasso later dedicated the goal to the under-fire boss and the entire ‘Inter family’.
